Mr. Nels Ylitalo is Director of Product Strategy for Regulatory Solutions at FactSet. Previously, he worked in signals intelligence in the United States Navy prior to attending law school at Yale where he earned a JD in 2007. Following law school, he was a corporate/M&A attorney representing VC and PE funds as well as corporate clients in M&A transactions. Mr. Ylitalo’s portfolio covers a broad range of financial services regulations with a current focus on buy-side regulatory requirements and challenges, globally.

Mr. James Cardamone is Vice President, ESG Product and Strategy at FactSet. In this role, he is responsible for integrating ESG content (ESG ratings, climate, and regulatory) into FactSet’s Analytics and Trading product suite. Prior, he was Director of Client Solutions at Truvalue Labs, which was acquired by FactSet in 2020. He also served as Director of Risk Oversight at MacKay Shields and started his career at FactSet as a consultant before moving into fixed income sales. Mr. Cardamone earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Finance and Marketing from Lehigh University.
