Mr. Jame DiBiasio is an award-winning financial journalist and author based in Hong Kong. He launched DigFin in March 2017, serves as co-chair of the FinTech Association of Hong Kong's WealthTech Committee, and is the founding editor of AsianInvestor magazine (2000). Prior, he served as editorial director at Haymarket Financial Media (2013-2016) and was the first-ever journalist in Asia to be granted the “Outstanding Contribution to Institutional Journalism” by the State Street Institutional Press Awards. Mr. DiBiasio earned a BA in International Relations and Affairs from American University and a master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Mark Konyn

Group Chief Investment Officer | AIA

Dr. Mark Konyn is the Group Chief Investment Officer responsible for providing oversight of the management of the investment portfolios of the Group as well as supervising and supporting the many investment professionals throughout the Group. He is a director of various companies within the Group including Chairman of AIA Investment Management Private Limited and AIA Investment Management HK Limited. He joined the Group in September 2015.

Dr. Konyn joined AIA from Cathay Conning Asset Management, where he was Chief Executive Officer responsible for the company’s investment business and strategic expansion in the region. He had held senior positions at Allianz Global Investors (where he was Asia-Pacific CEO for RCM Global Investors), Fidelity Investments and Prudential UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and holds a Diploma from the London Business School in Investment Management, having previously completed his Ph.D. in Operational Research sponsored by the UK Government.

Eleanor Wan

Chief Executive Officer | BEA Union Investment

Eleanor is the CEO of BEA Union Investment. Under her leadership, the firm is becoming a recognised Asian Investment Specialist, particularly strong in Asian fixed income investments. BEA Union Investment is now an award-winning house, winning more than 100 awards since 2012. The firm has also more than doubled its Asset under Management and Advisory since she joined in 2011.


Before joining BEA Union Investment, Eleanor was CEO of the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong, leading the Institute's efforts in promoting the professional standards of financial planners in Hong Kong. Before that, she was CEO of Allianz Global Investors Hong Kong. Eleanor's 25-year financial career has encompassed business development, client servicing, operation and general management.


She is currently and a member of the Professional Ethics Review Committee of the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong. She served as the Board Member of the Deposit Protection Board of Hong Kong and chaired the Investment Committee from 2008 to 2011. She was also a member of the Insurance Advisory Committee from 2010 to 2013. She has been an active member of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association, serving as a Vice-Chairman from 2006 to 2008. She was a member of the Disciplinary Panel of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants from January 2012 to January 2019.


Eleanor is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and media over the topics ranging from fund industry development, Mutual Recognition of Funds (MRF), and women leadership.

Michael Rhodes

Vice President, Content and Technology Solutions | FactSet

Mr. Michael Rhodes is Vice President, Director of FactSet’s Content and Technology Solutions sales team in the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, Mr. Rhodes manages FactSet’s data feed and off-platform solution sales in the region, focusing mainly on quantitative strategies and more generally, data consumption within asset management firms and global banks. Since joining FactSet in 2012, he has worked in various consulting and sales roles partnering with clients to build innovative solutions around their business needs that simultaneously optimize budget and drive efficiency. Mr. Rhodes earned his bachelor’s degree in International Business Economics from the University of Leeds.
